Take the first stepA FOCUS ON EMDR
EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. It is a psychotherapy approach used to help people process distressing experiences, including trauma.
It combines attention to a memory with guided side-to-side stimulation, such as eye movements. Before processing begins, you and your therapist discuss your history, prepare together, and consider whether the approach fits your needs.
